Expert Care for Speech & Occupational Therapy

Our Mission 

Palm Beach Speech & OT Specialists (Palm Beach SOS) delivers evidence-based assessment and intervention practices for individuals in need of speech-language therapy and/or occupational therapy.

At Palm Beach Speech & OT Specialists, we have an inter-professional team of licensed speech-language pathologists and licensed occupational therapists that provide individual and group treatment. Services address the individual's specific needs and can include speech therapy, occupational therapy, or both. Speech services will focus on the areas of speech, language, and communication. Occupational services will focus on daily life occupations that facilitate improved quality of life, by targeting motor coordination and sensory processing difficulties. The length of sessions are flexible and will maximize the amount of time necessary in order to make a change.

Quality Care Standards

Palm Beach Speech & OT Specialists (Palm Beach SOS) works to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. We will also assist in treating related disorders also found in individuals with other conditions, such as traumatic brain injury.

Aside from delivering best practice speech services, our occupational therapy team will evaluate and treat your child from a holistic and developmental approach. The focus is on daily life occupation that promote quality of life and speech and language development. These occupations include play, self-care skills, social participation, education, rest and sleep, leisure, among others. Our team specializes in Ayres Sensory Integration, PLAY Project, and The Therapeutic Listening Program. These tools will help your child build a solid foundation to reach their greatest potential. 

 

Palm Beach Speech & OT Specialists work as an inter-professional practice with speech and occupational therapy to ensure that our clients receive a well-rounded intervention that treats the whole child. We also collaborate with teachers, physicians, audiologists, psychologists, neurologists, social workers, and other rehabilitation specialists. This multidisciplinary approach assists in providing best practices for each one of our patients.
